Unable to update my cell numbe

I first tried to register for Ucount rewards on the 11th June 2013. I tried online by submitting my ID number. The number where my one time password was being sent was an old number of mine. The message displayed said that if the number is incorrect you have to go to a Standard bank branch to change it.
I went into the Rosebank (jhb) branch to change my cell number. My current profile with Standard bank did not have my old number on file, as I updated it - 2 years ago. The staff at the Rosebank branch could not help me in anyway, as they could not see why Ucount was using an extremely old number of mine and any profile update does not update through to Ucount rewards. How old is this data that Ucount is using, as it seem to be a couple years out of date, with no way to update it in real time. I also tried registering via sms. Currently on day 5 and still waiting for a call.
