I first tried to join the Ucount rewards program in the week of 10-12 June. Upon submitting my ID number online, an OTP was sent to a VERY old cell phone number of mine! (I haven't used that number in >5 years!).
On the 13th of June I went to the Hillcrest SB branch to try and rectify the issue. The lady assured me that all my contact info was up to date and that I should have no problem joining Ucount. I tried joining online a couple of times that afternoon, but the OTP was still being sent to this old number.
On the 15th of June I went to the SB branch in Wonderboom Junction. Again, the staff member assured me that all my contact info was correct and that I'd have no problems joining online. I tried that evening, to no avail!
On Monday 17 June, I wrote a snarly comment on your Facebook page out of frustration. I got a comment back the following day asking me to please phone 0860 123000. I decided to phone Ucount (0860 826868) directly first on 18 June. I held on for >8 minutes but no one answered the phone!
On Wednesday 19 June, I called 0860 123000 and was also left to hold on for >5 minutes, after which I gave up.
How am I supposed to join this program!?!?
