I applied for UCount rewards in September 2013. After a LONG struggle I finally received my rewards card in December, which I needed to activate. The OTP sends to a number that is not mine (and which I never had). I was promised this will be resolved within 5 working days. In January, still the same, no change, now they want another 5 days, which they have had. STILL not resolved. UCount says it is Standard Bank, Standard Bank says it is UCount and I am still siting with an inactive card and NO benefit. Everyone avoids the question as to who broke security policy and changed my telephone number without my consent. I still have no reply. Surely this is a security breach? Must money now be taken from my account by someone other than me before someone will listen? Or will they then only need another 5 working days? I am SICK of this. A private banking customer of 25 years receiving this treatment with absolutely NO urgency to resolve? What a disgrace!
