Why deactivate my account!?

Yesterday 08/06/2013 I visited standard bank to set up my internet banking and open a savings account that is linked to my current account. Everything went well and I received very good service. However I woke up to a sms 09/06/2013 saying that my account has been frozen because I am not FICA compliant. Why would they freeze my account after I was there YESTERDAY, they should have picked it up and told me when I was there not just Freeze my account!! It is very frustrating as today is my shopping day and I work till late in the evenings during the week which will result in me only being able to go to the bank next week Saturday, what will I do for grocery and petrol money!!!
