I have 2 accounts with MFC. Because of countrywide recession & declining property market, my income is unstable. I try to pay the full instalments, but its not always possible & sometimes I pay late
Meanwhile, I'm harassed by Collection agents every month. I know I'm sometimes in arrears, but I have NEVER disappeared or run away from my responsibilities. I own my own home & is no flight risk. I pay as soon as I have any money available. I do everything that I can to make the required payments. I even tried to sell the one vehicle, but its not possible to sell the vehicle for the outstanding amount
Your value statements say that you try & understand clients' needs & treat people according to ethical standards. However, I am treated like a criminal trying to shirk my responsibilities & threatened with legal action, which will not make the slightest difference.
Can someone assist me? Can the balance not be recalculated over original term? Is there anyone authorised to make a decision? When I try to contact MFC, the call centre refers me to the same collection agent and the process start again. At the moment the only party making money, is the collection agent!
