On Tueday 28/05/2013 I phoned Absa Credit Card Division @ 10.30am trying to find out when Statements will be emailed this month. Only at 10.50am was my call eventually answered and then promptly cut off by a very incompetent operator.

Does Absa not know that call cost money and a 20 minute hold costs the cutomer a lot of money? Oh, I forgot Absa doesn't care... after all they are doing me a favour by actually making me hold.

Please Absa can we not get back to someone live answering phones and transferring calls to the correct person???

More to the point I still don't know when my Statement will be emailed this month.

At the off chance that someone from Absa reads this complaint my Statement runs from 21 April to 22 May 2013. So I should have had my Statement by now. Can someone advise me when they start emailing Statements?
