I've been under debt review and request settlement figures to see if i'm close to settling my debt. The problem is I have a credit card with Absa which for some reason "NO ONE" can give me the correct balance or the correct contact person to speak to. I was told by Absa the account was settled. Only to receive an amount that's 5 times greater than the credit card via e-mail (even though I've been paying). I pay a large amount of money a month as I want to be debt free but Absa staff is just to incompetent to help. I have spoken to at least 15 people and sent at least 8 e-mails a month. I have asked over and over and over and over for a statement for the last year to see how they came to the figure but they can't even supply me with a simple statement. I can't wait to put Absa behind me. I cannot believe the treatment one get... All I want is a contact person for debt review and a simple statement. As I'm sure my funds are not being allocated
