BOPEDI BRANCH STAFF PROVIDING BAD SERVICE!!!

My parents are elderly people. They went to FNB to transfer funds from 32 days notice to personal account without waiting for 32 days as we have an urgent purchase order to complete a project.

The FNB staff advised my parents that they cant help them with the claim that they only provide these service to only bereaved families and those who are in deepest crisis and no one gets money from 32 days notice before the lapse date.

I spoke to the consultant over the phone & he referred me to her supervisor who was arrogant and very rude. I wanted to note her name down and she refused to provide her details but she finally accepted she will help them. Since they were at the branch from 12h00 midday they waited for that promised assisstance until 15h45 when they were told to prepare a letter so that they can be helped.
My parents are not schooled nor do they know how to write properly. I am wondering whether FNB is becoming too sophisticated for its elderly clients nower days.
But also how on earth do you make an elderly person wait for 3 hours whilst you know that you dont want to help her. I always trusted that FNB is far better with service but I am dissapointed today...
