Last Year on the 31st October we had a fire. It took two months for the loss adjuster to compile her report and she appointed a contractor not on the panel. They then try to pay us an unrealistically low amount to get thee repairs done and we requested one of the insurer's contractors. The contractors eventually came in January and for the most part were unsupervised. Our House was left dusty and our furniture was only covered when we requested it. My Wall unit and table have been chipped. During the process they failed to complete the rinoliting of my ceiling in one day and that is when the problem started. They tried in vain to repair the plaster and then tried to paint several layers of paint and sanding to try and fix the original problem. A inspector was sent in and his finding was that the ceilings were installed to standard but he could not confirm the quality and recommended further painting. We now have about 5 layers of paint and it still looks terrible. I have tried to phone and email Ooba and Escalate the problem and leave message and this has been going on now for two months and I get a reply if I am lucky once a week with no action plan.. I have not been indemnified
