Good day,
This is one of many complaint and I will not stop complaining till it is rectified. On 12 February I was phoned by your call center for Debt Protection and then over R500 was taken from my account after only 10 days on 22 February, I cancelled my Debt Protection and FNB said they will not give back my premium paid. As per law in South Africa if within 30 days you can cancel any contract, called the consumer protection act. I was assured it was cancelled. Then again the next month they took a premium lucky after complaining on this site they gave back my money and now again April they took over R500 after they said it was cancelled. I emailed them and they said it has to do with my branch. My branch phoned me and they can not sort it out. I then phoned FNB where they said they understand but it is not them its FNB Life, so I phoned FNB Life and they said no it not them its FNB. Then I spoke to FNB again where the lady explained it was never cancelled and she cancelled it, and she assured me someone will phone me for the refund. It is a week later and I am still waiting. How many times must I complain before it is cancelled and get my refund.
