FEEL FREE TO READ MY PREVIOUS POST ON FNB! IN SHORT I TOOK OUT A DEBT PROTECTION PLAN AS A RESULT OF DIRECT MARKETING. AFTER TOO MUCH HASSLE I TELEPHONICALLY CANCELLED WITHIN THE COOLING OFF PERIOD ON THE 23.05.2013 AND WAS ASSURED THAT THE POLICY WAS CANCELLED FREE OF CHARGE. TODAY I RECEIVED AN SMS CONFIRMING THE COVERAGE OF THE FIRST R1000 ON OVERDRAFT. I PHONED THE NUMBER PROVIDED FOR ENQUIRIES ON THE SMS, HAD TO HOLD 4 MINS, NONELO [WHAT HER NAME SOUNDED LIKE WITH POOR ENUNCIATION] COULD NOT HELP AND PUT ME THROUGH TO WINNIE WHO WORKS WITH FUNERAL PLANS, & COULD OBVIOUSLY ALSO NOT HELP, SHE GAVE ME A JHB NUMBER, WHERE I HAD TO HOLD ANOTHER 3 MINS, ARIEL ANSWERED BUT WAS PART OF THE CREDIT CARD DIVISION & GAVE ME THE FIRST NUMBER I CALLED AND TRIED TO PUT ME THROUGH. WHILE PUT ON HOLD AGAIN I REALIZED THAT THIS WAS GETTING ME NOWHERE. I PHONED THE NUMBER USED WHEN I CANCELLED THE POLICY BUT HAD TO HOLD 5 MINS WITH NO ANSWER. I HOPE THAT I COULD GET SOMEONE FROM FNB TO ASSIST ME THIS TIME. I AM FED UP! FNB DOESN'T ANSWER PHONES, FNB DOESN'T LISTEN TO CLIENTS, THE STAFF SHOULD LEARN TO ENUNCIATE, IT'S A CALL CENTER AFTER ALL! PLEASE CANCEL THE POLICY AND GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER
