I got a meaasge at 7:02AM yesterday advising me that my salary of a certain amount was paid into my FNB acccount, i have a gold card that was delivered to me but i did not have the pin so i went into the branch to have this created for me. when i got to your sunninghill branch i was informed at enquiries that my account was closed andf the card no longer valid, i was further advised that the system closed the account on the 11 May after there was no activity on the acccount. Now my salary was paid to that FNB account number, my debit orders were moved to the FNB account which is now closed. The branch manager could not explain to me why the system just closes an account and why the client is not informed when this is done, the branch manager further could not explain why an sms was generated from a 'closed account' or have my account reopended, could not explain how the situation would be remedied and by whom and decided that the best thing was to log a complaint. I got paid on Tuesday but i have no account no access to my hard earned salary and no answers from you FNB. instead i have messages from my creditors telling me my debit orders were not paid. Thanks for the help FNB
