November 2012 I received a quote and decided against the life policy and cancelled on 21/11/2012 in writing but the debit order payment went through end December 2012
Phoned on 31/12/2012 and the consultant said that the policy is active that I need to send an e-mail to cancel same. He replied to my e-mail and confirm that cancellation department will phone me and do a refund on the debit order payment as he can see that the payment was successfully received
No phone call or refund was received. I phoned on 7/01/2013 another consultant (you never get the same one twice) and followed up with an e-mail - no response received
On 11/01/2013 an e-mail was send to the consultant that was "so helpful" in December, but no answer/refund
Phoned again on 15/01/2013 and she confirmed that the policy is cancelled but I need to forward my bank statement for confirmation of the debit order. My statement is private and the "helpful" consultant confirmed receipt of debit order on 31/12/2012
Well, still waiting for a phone call/refund
