ABSURD WAITING TIME FOR HANDSET

Hi there,

I sent my Samsung Galaxy S3 in to repair my cracked screen on the 25th of MARCH 2013. For a long while I dealt with my cellphone provider in finding out where my handset was- and week went by to them saying the handset had been collected. On the 7th of April, a lady called Shameel contacted me and informed me that the handset was still at the service providers store and I would have to pay my excess before the phone would be collected. I swifty paid the amount of R450 as it was a claim made within two months of owning the phone. I did not hear anything else from ANYONE with regards to my handset and eventually had to phone the insurance call center. I had to call 3 times just to establish whether my phone was in fact collected from the shop. Once that was confirmed, I phoned back on the 7th of May to see how far along my phone was as this time period to wait for a handset is somewhat RIDICULOUS. They said I should phone back on the 9th of May, which I just have. They say my phone is being repaired but cannot get hold of the repair center and I must phone back AGAIN.

THIS WAITING TIME FOR ONE HANDSET IS ABSURD AND NO ONE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON WITH THE PHONE.
