Cell C refuse cancellation of contract

24/06/13 New contract signed on ove handset, Handset continuously froze. 29/06 Returned handset to store (within 7 day period as per consumer protection act). Store refused to exchange or to cancel contract and sent handset for assessment. I called call centre & got cancellation ref. 3070103377. 18/07 Collected handset - still freezing! 22/07 Call centre ref. Thabo 1307220000134811 who stated phone SHOULD have been exchanged and contract cancelled on 29/06! 23/07 Tried to return handset again but store said an investigation on signal in my area would be done. 28/08 and still no investigation had been done so returned handset AGAIN! They now sending handset to Samsung.. Have not used handset on suggestion of store Manager. 17/09 Phone returned to me - STILL FREEZING despite fact that Samsung had apparently re-set all software. At one time they suggested that SIMcard was faulty but I have used this SIMcard in a borrowed Nokia phone for more than 2 months and experienced no problem and signal acceptable.
I would like the handset changed to something different (not Samsung) or return phone and contract to be cancelled without any further costs to me.
