I have been a client of miway insurance since in 2011. I have NEVER claimed from the insurance or missed a premium payment to date. But i am being rewarded with service now when i need them most. On 8 Dec. 2012 i had an accident (which i repported to the police AND insurance) and my car has not been fixed since! Though all neccesary documentation and access was paid! I have been reffered to a panel beater that tells me they will only assist from 18 February 2013 onwards. I am refused a courtesy car WHICH I PAY FOR EVERY MONTH untill my car is fixed. I ALWAYS have to call them and follow up on the progress. My car has a huge Dent and the petrol cap is open (imagine the possibilities if an open cap, i cannot fill up petrol/a child may innocently put foreign objects in there). When I followed up again yesterday as i have been doing since december about the progress of my claim, i am told to look for my own panel beater. Is that NOT their job? I must use a taxi to get to work and back. I would like to know what i am paying for exactly as i am without car or courtesy car but am insured.what is the difference between me and a non insured person? i could have saved the premiums then.
