On 04th Dec 2012 I was involved in a car accident & on same day i made a claim with Indwe. I was given a courtesy car on 05th Dec 2012 for use. From the time i made my claim, i have never received any update on progress of the repairs of my car. I had to follow up on the insurance to check on progress. Only received an sms on 24th Dec 2012 notifying me that repairs for my car has been authrorised. On 09th Jan 2013 I made a call to the panel beater to check on progress of repairs for my car & to my surprise I was told insurance has not sent the authorisation letter. On the 10th Jan 2013, I made a call to the insurance to find out reasons for delay and was told that an authorisation letter was sent to panel beaters on 24th Dec 2012 when the panel beater were closed for holidays. I then a requested an email of that communique which unfortunately the insurance could not provide. It was only on the 10th Jan 2013 that the panel beater received an authorisation letter after i spoke to a team leader in the claims dept. On 21st Jan 2013, the courtesy car is expiring & my car is still not fixed yet insurance is not taking any responsibility for delays they caused with processing my claim.
