African Bank
Blatently clinging to my money or useless?

Business & Finance

I have been experiencing problems with the debit order as AB decides if they want to deduct and when they want to deduct. I paid an installment via eft on 29-4-2013 and sent the proof of payment stating that it was for the month's installment. AB decided to deduct a debit order as well. I requested a refund on 2 May 2013 and was told by Nthabileng that it takes 48 hours. On 4 May I received an sms stating that the payment method was changed but no feedback on the refund. I sent another request for feedback on the refund. Needless to say, nothing! I phoned on 5 May and Lungile told told me the request was only sent in today, 5 May and it will take 48hours.By Wednesday. I asked her for transcripts of the call, but AB do not send that she says. I think this is a case of clinging to the clients money, having AB's best interest at heart and not the client's. Total ignorance and incompetence and not being transparent at all. I have had problems with this account from day one and have a few years left. Will they get it right? To my disappointment I think not. Consultants cannot read a first query and deal with it. Are they trying to keep my money. What is going on? Scary thought!!
