First For Women Insurance
No feedback & taking too long to approve a claim

Business & Finance

On the 12th of April 2013 I was involved in an accident, My claim was lodged with my insurance. My car was taking in the same evening and the following day a hired vehicle was allocated to me. A week later a followed up on the status on the claim and I was told the report is in progress and it will soon be finalised. As at the 3rd May 2013, my claim has not been finalised and nothing has been done to my vehicle (i.e. no repairs have been done).
I am out of the country at the moment and back on the 24th May, I want to know how am I supposed to get around when I am back, surely it cannot take to 3 weeks to finalise a claim. I do not have the hired vehicle as this has been returned at OR Tambo on the 23rd.

I would like my claim to be finalised as soon as possible and my car repaired and be available for my use on the 24th May when I back from Munich, please assist in expediating this matter as this is shocking and unacceptable.

Regards,

Noni
