EXORBITANT MANAGEMENT FEES

I have decided to change banks due to personal and more convenient reasons. Yesterday I was called by my branch to say that my account was overdrawn by plus minus R179.00 whereby I stated that I would come and close the account today (May 3, 2013). On my arrival I was referred to Chantell who kindly said that she would assist me whilst her Branch Manager was at her desk. As he heard my request to close my account he walked off, after knowing me for some time as one of his clients. I then learnt that the balance payable to close my account was R914.40 which I queried. Unfortunately my Edgars debit order did go through between yesterday and today, which I did not anticipate as I did change their debit order timeously. I then saw that there is another Management fee charged of R231.00 which I refuse to pay as I would like to know what was managed on my account from March 25 to April 25. Chantell then said she would discuss this fee with her Branch Manager to be waived, whereby I was informed that he would only waive the R120.00 fee charged for the Edgars debit order. I would appreciate urgent feedback on this matter as I find this utterly disgusting.
