My vehicle was involved in an accident on 10/12/13. Claim was reported. Was told that assessment will be complete within 48 hours. The assessment took place two weeks later after numerous phone calls to Absa. Assessment report was received after Christmas. Was promised that claim would be finalised by Tuesday (07/01/14). Claim is still not finalised. Car hire expires today so I do not have transport from today. This is disappointing service. I need the claim finalised today so that I can have my car back soonest.
