Service from what I thought was an amazing

I purchased a groupon voucher for a full body message as a gift for my mum.
she tried to redeem this voucher about 2 months ago and the beauty spa said it was already used.
we he sent countless emails and calls to groupon received a response from Chantal Norman who didn't seem to give a that this was a bad view on the company, i spoke to her after being fed up of unhelpful emails, she then gives me the service providers number confirms the voucher code and expects me to run after the service provider, myself after i expected groupon to at least try to assist in resolving this issue.
it should matter how small the amount spent with groupon, but the fact that their loyal clients re now inconvenienced. Groupon contracts these service providers but did nothing to help my mum redeem her voucher, so i spent that money a a message she never received because groupons attitude toward the issue at hand!
i think twice if i will be cheated out of my money when seeing something id like to purchase off groupon because as they grow bigger their care for customer service lowers.
#disappointed!
