On the 03rd of December 2012, I paid R499 for a hair straightening product. Groupon's policy states that 4 weeks must be given for delivery- rather excessive if you ask me, but either way by 25 January 2013 I still did not receive my product.
I emailed numerous times but all I received was "we have sent your request to our product department". Well this product Department did absolutely nothing until I eventually phoned them and asked to speak to their management (this was now February!!!) The management was "too busy to talk to me, because he was counting stock". Apparently an irate customer whose order had not been delivered for 3 months since time of purchase, was not a priority. I was 'assured' by the consultant that he promises I will get my order by the 18th February (the following Monday).
I then requested this promise in writing and the consultant said the manager would email me right away.
Well guess what?!?!?! I am still waiting for that mail and of course my order which did not arrive on Monday (shock, horror, surprise).
I have never in my entire life been treated like this by a company who has taken my money and basically disappeared. I am beyond disgusted.
