I purchased a machine from groupon in September last year, firstly this machine was delivered a month later and worked for only a month.

I called groupon and advised on this and waited a almost three months for this machine to be collected and was told that i will be given a refund then.

When I called in and complained yet again that the machine was not collected, I was told that I will be given the refund as they acknowledge that it was their fault, the refund did not appear in my account and I had chatted with Carmen, Kaldwin, Rayne, Nazley and Chi chi who all insisted that the funds was in my bank and i need to follow up my bank as the bank may have backdated, irrespective we live in a new age where everyone has sms banking, so hence none was received.

i did follow up with FNB and they confirmed that groupon did not make any transfers as stipulated, me as the client had to follow up with resolve this query.

I am sure that this is how groupon operates and advise people that moneys will be refunded when they are fully aware that they did not click the button to refund in the first place.
