Request #146802 - 4 Weeks And Still No Refund

On the 8th of January 2014 I paid via EFT for a Groupon Voucher. The payment went through immediately but alas, the Groupon was never issued to me.

At first, when I inquired as to when I would receive it, Cara Styles wrote that I should wait and see. On the 13th of January 2014 I requested a refund. I was dealing with Evangeline Meezhiparasi S (who was nice enough). I was sent a sorry excuse of a proof of payment on the 16th of January that included absolutely no details of anything.

I was once AGAIN told to wait it out.

I did, and inquired once more. I was then asked to send my bank statements to them in order to check that I was not lying and that I, in fact, hadn't received the funds. I obliged, however, when I inquired once more, no one got back to me... despite the number of emails that I have sent.

I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED PAYMENT

It is safe to say that Groupon will never again be my choice of supplier. I just want my money back so that I can leave Groupon in my past as a bad memory.

Perhaps, this will actually get me some joy out of this sorry excuse of a company now...
