On 3Nov 2013 I purchased a TomTom VIA 120 Car Navigation Unit which included Delivery within 2 weeks. The purchase price went through my card account on the 3Nov and I got a Voucher. On 20Nov I tried to phone Groupon Customer Service and after holdng on for nearly 30 min I was cut off. I immediately followed up with an e-Mail and got a response on 21Nov saying they were sorry for non delivery & would follow up. On 24Nov another Mail- Still following up but No Solution. On 26Nov another Mail from a Cara Styles saying they could not get feedback regarding when stock will be collected from their partner. She wouls give them 1more week to aquire stock & if No Stock by then they would refund me. On 2Dec I got a Groupon Notice advertising the same TomTom VIA 120. Now 4weeks since my order so mailed Groupon requesting Immediate Refund - No Response to date.
I am wondering if this incident should not be reported to the Consumer Protection Council. Is it "Legal" to promote a product that they cannot supply - does that not constitute?
