Bought three vouchers from Groupon for Unique Transformation spa as gifts to senior management staff in our company. One voucher redeemed when our colleague made the appointment, but when she got to the spa, the doors were closed. She struggled to get hold of the owner on the number provided, only to be told they are 'redoing their electricals'. They could not give a day or date when they would be available again. We've reported this to Groupon on 4 October. They referred it to their Investigation Team. Today is the 16th, they informed me this morning it is still with the Investigation Department. We are extremely embarrassed already because the three senior staff members could not use their gifts, now we have to wait ages for an investigation to decide if we are entitled to a refund. I have used my groupon account to buy the voucher on my branch manager's behalf and paid with his credit card, so you can imagine how embarrassing this is for me for having encouraged him to use Groupon, and now he must wait for a refund before he can replace the gifts to his senior staff. We need a refund on his credit card as none of the vouchers have been used. Ticket reference 64025.
