Groupon for marketing and selling deals that do not materialise due to Merchants closing and failing to inform the consumers timeously. We make bookings well in advance, only to find on that day of the service that the business is no longer in existence. Furthermore, when you request a refund, we expect to be paid back in the same format that we paid i.e our credit card as we did not cancel on our own accord it was due to the Merchants closing but we are forced to accept a credit on our account with Groupon. Recently, the Buggy Park closed, I purchased 4 vouchers but was only refunded for 3, they do not check and validate prior applying the refund process. We also purchased 2 Deals for Femmina Beauty Centre, which also closed, my account was credited, but my daughter has been experiencing endless nightmare to obtain her credit amidst numerous emails to Groupon. It seems that the Contact Centre is mannered by staff that are incompetent, lack knowledge and skills and cannot read and comprehend. Similarly, there is no service deliverable and they do not meet their deadline nor do they respond timeously to their emails. You request an Agent to call you, to no avail and it is a nightmare!
