Be warned, Groupon does offer savings on goods, but in the end, you're better off buying from a reputable dealer. I have made several purchases from Goupon over the last year and have now reached a point where I feel everyone needs to be warned about their business practices. When you order goods, your credit card is debited, if that is the chosen payment method, you are then given a delivery timeline. This estimate is often why off the mark. What happened to me is a week after the "due" date I called into their call center. Was on hold for around 37 minutes, a norm I believe. I was then told the item ordered was out of stock. So I asked the question, why do I have to call in to query, surely they should notify me and refund my money? No that's not how they work I was told. They would gladly refund my credit card, which was 7 weeks ago. I've tried calling into their call center on numerous occasions, hold time anywhere from 25 - 43 minutes. Every time I get told they will process my refund, still waiting. They refuse to give out phone numbers, you have to call the call center, BE WARNED the odd saving is not worth the headache when things go wrong, and they do.
