I was on board SA 535 from JHB - Dbn on this day. My one bag in hold contained all spare clothing.
Upon arrival, the bag did not materialise. There were 30 customers in same position. We all stood in Q with 1 person servicing us. After 40 minutes, I ran out of time and had to leave for scheduled meeting. No one came to advise why all were inconvenienced. That evening I tried to get hold of the SAA baggage services at King shaka what a joke. No presence on google. Central line for Kingshaka never picked up?? Other numbers given were out of order!!?? After 10 calls I gave up. The next day AM, tracked down a number which was never answered. Escalated to management and was put through to a person who was not on duty, but could confirm the bag was at reclaims, but would not deliver it!! (?) Eventually I went to the airport to collect. another wait in a long&irate Q now serviced by 2 persons. Was late for my next meeting. Nobody from SAA made an effort to track me down. Desperately bad service.
