Shocking service

Flight from Johannesburg VS602 delayed by 24 hours. No one from Virgin to help with re booking connecting flights. Hotel we were put up in for the night was shocking. On arrival in New York our bags did not arrive and we were without clothes, toiletries etc for 24 hours. Again nobody cared at all. Phone number to inquire about bags was a London number and although all sorts of promises were made to keep us informed and to call us back, this did not happen. A trip were had waited a year for to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays was completely spoilt by Virgin. When I contacted virgin on my return by email, the response was "I hope you still had a good time in the Big Apple". How insensitive can the customer service department be. Virgin Atlantic you are a shocking airline!!!
