Global Travel Alliance
Global Travel Alliance obtains your details by unethical means and then refuses to cancel the contract they conned you into

Traveling & Tourism

This is the most unethical business I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. After obtaining my details through a 'quiz', I was invited to a presentation to be eligible for a free holiday. The presentors were very smooth and offered the world. The salesman was very smooth and even after I told him I don't have money for holidays, not then and most certainly not now, he persuaded me to sign a contract for R167 a month. There was no mention for how long I was signing the contract for, what the terms of cancellation was. I made one enquiry through their network for accommodation and it is was way overpriced and far beyond what I could afford. When I tried to cancel my contract, I was told that I have to pay the cancellation. In order to 'collect' the fee, they started phoning at me at work. I have sent countless bank statements to share what my finances look like. The reason for the cancellation is that I cannot afford this payment. I cannot afford a holiday.
Today I got a call from a woman screaming over the phone at me when I tried to find out who was on the other end of the line. She phoned me at work. Really terrible customer service.
