I am a pretty patient and understanding person, but Mango managed to completely ruin that.
I flew from CT to JHB on sunday, 2 Feb at what was meant to be 5pm. Lots of flights get delayed and I understand that. What I do NOT understand is useless, rude and incompetent staff! We were left standing around for a good 30 minutes with no explanation and when I sought one I had to deal with the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I was told, what turned out to be a lie, about an aircon being down which was the changed to a technical issue and 'we'd hopefully fly tonight'. When we eventually boarded 2 hours later (after much more frustrations in the interim) a bunch of seats were double booked which obviously led to more incompetence. Then we finally took off - wifi worked for exactly 30 seconds - which was R50 well spent and I eventually got home at 11pm - 4 hours late, on a Sunday.
I repeat, delays happen and are forgiveable but WOEFUL customer service and a blatant rip off for service is not. If Mango pretended to care I would be left with this sour taste in my mouth, but I have.
It is now my life mission to tell EVERYONE I meet to not fly with Mango!
