I had the unfortunate task of boarding an Intercape bus on the 20/12/2013 - my ticket was booked a week before for the 21st and was changed for the 20th (I was unable to pay the R51 via EFT so was helped by a colleague to pay via CC to get the ticket changed). The bus booked was for 19:45 I was dropped off by the same colleague (as we had to show pop with the cc) - apart from the bus been over 2 1/2 hours late there was nil communication from Intercape (where many people missed appointments). There were no seating - no safety - little children - older adults waiting and obviously Intercape had no concern. We continuously called Intercape offices who couldn't be bothered that we were stranded and who could only tell us that the bus was stuck in traffic (which was a as many other buses using the same route were on time) then it was that the bus was been refueled and washed (which should not have been done on our time).

The bus eventually arrived and by then my colleague (holder of the Credit Card) has to leave due to delay. i had to pay for another ticket!!! i will not except a courtesy ticket and want my money back. 5 days later from complaint and still no response.
