I applied for an avios credit card in Dec 2013 it was approved and we arranged for the card to be delivered to my work. It was discussed what documents I would need to present which I did but on delivery this changed and the documents that was used to approve the card was no longer sufficient for me to get my card.

That is the suppliers right as is mine to then cancel a transaction because if you can not even let me open an account with out messing me around then odds is the service wont be getting better as we go on. So I requested the transaction of opening an account must be cancelled as I have never been issued the card.

Etienne from retentions eventually phoned me and made a pretty convincing offer for me to give them another shot by arranging for the card to be delivered and as I have already successfully been FICA'd to only having to provide copy of my ID on delivery. This and he would wave my 1st year's fees. Week later me phoning to follow up on the progress the documents turns out is going to be an issue. Since this call I have requested to speak to a manager and have e-mailed but have received no response.

This is appalling service or lack there of.
