I was trying to book a flight using my AVIOS, but the screen said I was 95 AVIOS too short. It said I can purchase more AVIOS, minimum 1000. So I purchased the AVIOS, 6000 of them as I needed more for another flight.

My credit card was charged, but now no AVIOS reflecting, nor did I receive any sort of confirmation email.

Phoned call centre, spoke to James and he couldn't find the transaction, but that he said it shouldn't take more than 5 days. However that does not help me as I need to make my bookings before they are booked out and I have very limited travel dates. In anycase, the page said I can top up my AVIOS. I have already booked one leg of the journey, and I can't just fork out another R2000 odd if I cannot use the AVIOS for the other leg anymore.

Please sort this out urgently.
