Bus was 3 hours late AND stuck on the road

On the 4th of December, I had booked two bus tickets to come down to durban. The bus was scheduled to leave JHB station at 10pm - the bus only arrived at 11:45pm. The bus should have been at the station at 9pm yet it only arrived close to 12am so in my opinion, the bus was almost 3 hours late. Whilst we waited for the bus, I tried to find out from someone who worked at Intercape if they knew where the bus was and what time it would arive. The atendand insisted with terrible attitude that the bus was stuck in standstill traffic and they didn't know where the bus is. So I asked again if it was not possible to communicate with the driver of bus 154 to find out where he is, and to my shock, he said "oh bus 154, that bus was 5 minutes away." So obviously there were more than one bus that was late, and bus 154 was not stuck in traffic. Long story short, the bus arrived, and now people from 2 busses were trying to squeeze into one bus. Eventually after finding 2 seats, we started the journey at midnight and had to stop around 1:45 because there was a problem with the bus. We waited 2-3 hours for another bus to pick us up. Intercape handled the problem terribly with no compensation.
