Bumped off return flight

I was bumped off a return flight from Cape Town with no prior notification in February 2013 as I missed my flight down. You can imagine my surprise when I was informed of this when I arrived at the airport to catch my paid return flight, and only to be told you have been bumped off as you did not fly down with us. Khulula were well aware that I did not fly down with them as I tried desperately to get onto a alternative flight which they could not offer me. Mango kindly did so - and I paid Mango's flight and my missed flight with Khulula.

How can you just bump people off when they have paid for their flight and you do not even inform them? Have you heard of the Consumer Protection Act? I am sure that it will not be allowed - and I will be following it up with them. It is a pity I am so busy, which is what you rely on - and I could not devote time fighting being abused in this manner by Khulula. But no worries Khulula, your time will come as the competition enters the market - and it will no matter how hard you fight it - and as you will rightfully guess - my loyalties will not with you!!
