South Africa's delightful "customer service" industry never seizes to amaze me. I encountered possibly the most rude individual while checking into a flight to Lanseria from Cape Town Int. As a manager, your job is to ensure the satisfaction of your customers, specially in an industry where choice is readily available. I do not appreciate being told two different policies. Faariq was rude, condescending and unhelpful and quite frankly should not be interacting with customers. I phoned the [URL Removed] customer helpline to be told that buying an extra bag would cover the cost of my cat. To my surprise, whilst checking in, I was told that I had to forgo that money I had already spent on the extra bag and then pay again for my pet. As if it is not traumatising enough for my pet to travel, she then had to be carted around the airport. Shocking service and no help whatsoever from Faariq. Sort your front of line out Kulula! Not acceptable and I would like the money I paid for the extra bag to be refunded immediately.
