I booked a Greyhound ticket to travel to Harare from Joburg. The ticket conditions state that i must report at the pick up point 30 mins prior to departure time ticket. I was at Midrand Maxis at 1950 because the ticket stated that departure rom Midrand is 2020. At 2004 i received a txt message saying the bus was running 1hr 45min behind schedule. It went on to say "Please be at stops 30 mins prior to new departure time". I was already there and did not have the luxury of being driven back home and come back again. Why not send the txt earlier because they said the coach had broken down and it was being fixed. On noticing that the problem was a lot bigger than anticipated, why not make plan B. Anyway, all passengers decided to wait an extra 1h 45 min which was going to be 2145. At 2203, we got another message which said the delay would be another hour. At which time, it had started drizzling and it was freezing. They have an office at Maxis but it was closed so everyone was waiting in cars or if you were unfortunate like me, outside, having been dropped off. We were expecting the bus at 2245 only to receive another txt at 2329 saying the delay was 4hrs. We left @1am & arrived @ 2115
