Greyhound
The Buss trip from

Traveling & Tourism

Booked a luxury ticket with Greyhound Double decker bus Paarl to Welkom
on the 1 April this year. I booked a seat upstairs right in front so I could have more
Legroom as my leg was sore. I booked 2 weeks in advance. The price was R500 which
considering to Paarl price was R400, was at a premium, but it was easter.
We waited for quite a while over the departure time and it was raining heaverly
They arrived and parked behind a double decker on the side of the garage, so you could not see them. I was told I was to board the single decker bus. At the time I was sopping wet..We got on our way and duly broke down twice befor Worcester. My leg rest was broken off so I couldn't rest my leg and they put me into a normal cramped seat. Everybody around me was upset as the bus was not of the luxury we had paid for which the ticket promises. Everybody agreed that they would never travel Greyhound again. The positive thing was the Hostesses which were super. I feel that had Greyhound told me that I would be going in this single decker, (sometimes wondering if it were roadworthy), bus I would have asked my money back. Its disgusting that they put you in a second class bus, and I also wonder who choose
