Booked vehicle with Voyager partner using Voyager points on 18 Aug. Trip vehicle booked for was unexpectedly cancelelled and I cancelled vehicle hire directly with hire company the same day. Emailed request to Voyager on 20 Aug and again on 22 Sept, and to date haven't had a single reply. Phoned today to enquire, only to be told by Lynette at the call centre that such requests must be telephonic and, because more than a month has passed, since the booking, my points cannot be refunded! I couldn't get an email address to which to send my two prior email requests to prove that I tried to cancell the request well within 30 days of the booking as "we do not have personal email addresses here" nor could I get the contact details of someone senior, as " my supervisor and anybody more senior will tell you the same thing" 'm telling you". How is that for sheer arrogance and showing your clients the middle finger! SAA Voyager, you are a national embarrassment. No wonder South Africans despise their national airline and would much rather fly on and deal with foreign airlines. I just want my miles back so that I can put them to use, if somebody senior at SAA is listening!
