I booked a flight to Chile and paid with my Nedbank credit card. My card was debited for 2 amounts (double the amount I was suppose to pay). I was furious because I had heard and read on hellopeter that when this happens to get your refund is a huge issue. I emailed travelstart and sat back preparing myself for a long fight as is traditional with so many companies in our country.
Wow was I pleasantly surprised, Marchelle contacted me and organised everything to rectify the situation. After a few phone calls the boss Barbara got hold of me and explained the situation and followed it up with an email. She must have also got hold of Nedbank. That night I found that the amount had been reversed. Nedbank I'll accept this was an honest mistake. So how cool is that within 24 hours everything was sorted out and I didn't loose any sleepless nights
Well done guys now just imagine if all corporates and government institutions good treat there customers like this?
