My wife and I both booked tickets to King Shaka on Thursday 14 Feb from Lanseria, on the Kulula website about 15 minutes ago. We had to do this separately since we were both using our Discovery Vitality cards to get a discount.

I visually confirmed that her details were correct on the submission form that she entered, but when she received her confirmation email it showed as OR Tambo. She had previously looked at OR Tambo as an option, but had closed that window and had selected Lanseria in her current window before continuing. The only way I can see that this happened is if the web server somehow confused the sessions and posted the incorrect data.

I immediately (within 3 minutes of the booking being made) phoned the Kulula contact centre to notify them of the error and rectify the problem which was 100% a system error. Their response was to say that we need to pay over R700 (nearly 70% of the original cost) to rectify a problem that wasn't our fault and that we responded to within minutes. I find this highly unacceptable, and would like some FAIR feedback on how to rectify this.
