Absolutely disgraceful attitude and service from Flight Centre. Flights to my brothers wedding in the Dominican were booked AND paid for over a month ago. We now have problems in obtaining a US Visa, and as such flights need to be re-routed, either via Europe or Sao Paolo. Flight Centres excuses now range from -
Can't re-route (yet SAA agrees we can!!)
We MUST cancel the tickets (so Flight Centre can take their "cut" ) then re book.
To make matters worse, they maintain it takes 3MONTHS for a refund??? - IN DIRECT CONTRAVENTION OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT (after they take their "cut"of course) so they now want us to fork out ANOTHER R35 000, while they sit on our first R35 000 for another 3 months?? ( after their "cut", that is)

This circus with "pass the buck", "make up excuses" as we go along and false promises, has now been going on for 4 days! We are supposed to leave for the Dominican in 2 weeks time, we STILL don't have a flight, but they got our money!!! and all we get is "we"ll get back to you". Try phoning them? if you can get through after waiting 20 minutes, then we get the "we"ll ph you back" story again!! Cut off for my Attorney is 12h00 tomorrow.
