Flight 191 departing Mauritius at 16.50 on 26.12.2012, scheduled to arrive at Jhb at 19.15.. the aircons were at a ridiculous low, my knees ached, feet became numb, every bone in my body screamed out for help. Upon asking the flight attendant for a blanket, we were advised that they were 'out of blankets'. So basically i shivered myself sick for 4 long hours. The flight attendant offered picking up the temperature of the aircon but that was never done. The food sucked. I had a pasta with chicken that tasted awful, somewhat boiled with no spice, and no taste whatsoever. Just the first bite was enough to make me leave the meal untouched thereafter. Basically the service was extremely disappointing considering the prices we pay for SAA flights. One would expect ATLEAST A BLANKET..or is that too much to ask? This was the flight back from an amazing honeymoon only to have the perfection from it all ruined.. to fellow Mauritian visitors, Air Mauritius was a beautiful, comfy flight going, with delicious food and excellent service. Had someone warned me, I would have booked an Air Mauritius flight back as well... SAA has really disappointed us!!!
