SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR FROM A GROUND STAFF SUPERVISOR

I have always been an avid supporter of Kulula Airline, and have always experienced the best service etc. Until the 27th of June 2013. I had just checked in when the check- in clerk said that my name is different to the initials in my ID book. I said yes, because when I booked the ticket online I had put my name in that I am called by. To cut a long story short, he called his supervisor, who promptly tore my ticket in half and in the most arrogant manner told me that it is null and void. He didn't give me a chance to produce identification that I had with me that shows my name I am called by, as it is different to my birth names. I was forced to buy a ticket back to JHB at a huge expense. Funny how it was no problem to fly from Lanseria earlier that week... Funny how in the past once or twice I also made the booking under my other name, and NEVER has it been a problem! Until this supervisor at King Shaka had to prove himself by being completely unprofessional and arrogant. I have obtained the name of his manager, and I will not accept anything less than my ticket back to be refunded by Kulula. I am so disappointed that one staff member cast such a stain over my years of travelling
