Online Billing Problem - Consumers Problem?

3 July I made payment for 4 flights from Johannesburg to Cape Town in August 2013.Upon payment stage online, I received an error, which stated Kulula were not able to process my booking and I should re-do this step. Why should I have re-done this payment if I got a confirmation SMS as well and Email from my bank confirming that this has happened? This lead me into confusion - Are these seats that I had booked actually booked (as payment went through) or do I have to rebook this again and then will I have an extra 4 flights for this date too? Once spoken to the superior person - payment was pending&given three choices that I would have to make.
1.Kulula will refund the full R5824.00 back to my account.
2.I could get the same flight on the Thursday - but I would have to PAY AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT.
3.I could get the next morning's flight - which would be at the same price.
I then had to make a decision and had no other choice but to pay the additional amount of R1824.00 over an about my first initial payment of R5824.00 as I needed to fly out on that specific evening. Total amount of: R7648.00
This was a fault on your online booking program & now I have incurred the cost for this!!
