I flew to EL from OR Tambo at the end of March and had no problems at the Jhb airport. However, when planning to return on Sunday 31st March, I first received an email stating that the flight was delayed from 18:00 to 18:40.

I rearranged my plans and arrived at the check-in desk at 18:10 promptly. Knowing that I was just on time, I was actually upset when the lady at the check-in desk spoke to me in an unfriendly and somewhat angered tone. She said that I had to be there much earlier as the flight was no longer leaving at 18.40 but ready to go, and that they were now waiting for me. I found this to be odd as I didn't even receive a notification stating that the flight was pushed forward again. What I really didn't appreciate was the fact that I was made to feel as if all the passengers onboard as well as the pilot and staff were waiting for me and that I was responsible for holding them up. I really didn't appreciate the overall attitude and manner in which this incident was handled, especially since this was my first time flying with Kulula. I was treated in the same manner as I now find out, many others similarly are from Kulula. This is very unprofessional and upsetting.
