Bribe at check in

After a 24 hour flight from London, I arrived in JHB for my domestic flight to Durban. My main luggage was over my allowance for SAA and I had time before check in so I went to the SAA check in counter to have my main bag weighed. I had a back pack in my main bag and I was going to weigh my main bag and move items into my back pack in order to make my weight allowance. Whilst standing in the queue I was assisted by a gentleman who proceeded to help me check in, I explained my situation and he took me to another counter. I was overweight (which I knew I would be) and he told me that he would overlook this and put my bag through I said I would put items into a backpack, he said it wasn't a problem. After I checked my bag through he said that I owed him and the person behind the counter money, I was furious, but also exhausted after 24 hours of travelling and was worried about what he (and the people behind the counter) would do to my luggage I paid him R100, he then became angry when I said I would not give him more. Internationally all domestic flights have different check in procedures, It's disgusting that I have to face corruption 20 min after landing in my home county
